Anna Mazzotta achieved critical acclaim while studying at the Royal College of Art and her work is in notable private collections across the world, including celebrity owners Fatboy Slim and Jane Fonda.
Mazzotta is one of the youngest winners of the prestgious National Jerwood Drawing Prize, recognised by critics for originality and excellence.
Mazzotta has exhibited in solo and group shows as well as various artist in residence programmes.
Her work is figurative and combines exquisite draughtsmanship, fresh
originality and provocative humour; some evoking the lost world of Vaudeville and the Moulin Rouge.
Specialising in oil and charcoal, the artist is deeply influenced by the revitalist glamour of the Golden Age of Cinema bringing that world to life through a modern lens.

“My Painting is a way of seeing the world, thinking, feeling, showing sensations, not just the mechanics of a scene, but instead emphasizing energy, life and letting the inner emotion of the characters shine forth.”
